Secretary of Labor Kicks Off National Apprenticeship Week 2022
National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is a nationwide celebration to showcase the opportunities that apprenticeship offers for workers to develop workplace experience and skills that employers value. The eighth annual NAW will take place on November 14-20, 2022, at hundreds of events across the country.
These events give leaders in business, labor, education and other critical industries the opportunity to showcase their apprenticeship programs, apprentices, and facilities to career seekers in their local communities.
2022 Maryland Apprenticeship Awards
Would you like to see an organization, Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor, Registered Apprentice Mentor, Registered Apprentice or Youth Apprentice receive recognition for excellence? The Maryland Department of Labor (MD Labor) is holding the second annual Maryland Apprenticeship Awards to recognize exemplary participants in Maryland apprenticeships and to highlight apprenticeship as an outstanding workforce development model.
NOMINATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED UNTIL OCTOBER 21, 2022!
Awardees will be announced during National Apprenticeship Week.
