National Apprenticeship Week - Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Program (MATP)

National Apprenticeship Week - November 13-17, 2017

National Apprenticeship Week is a national celebration that started in 2015 as a way of promoting new apprenticeship opportunities, honoring apprenticeship leaders and apprentices, and celebrating apprenticeship successes.

In 2017, Governor Hogan declared November 13-17 National Apprenticeship Week in celebration of the role that registered apprenticeships play in revolutionizing Maryland’s workforce. The Maryland Department of Labor participated in 12 events throughout Apprenticeship Week, attracted more than 29,000 social media impressions and was featured in 12 local, regional and national media outlets.
